My Videos Resize!

My Video: width="400" height="335"

My Playlist: width="400" height="500"

Now you, too, can hack the new Yahoo! Video player. Just adjust the two sets of width and height numbers when you copy and paste our embed code from the Yahoo! Video site into your own website (the first set of numbers you'll find inside the <object> tag and the second inside the <embed> tag). Our robots take care of all the tricky math for you and it just works like it should.

Feel free to add me to your contacts on the site and I'll do my best to help you out.

Radiohead on NYE

I dont know how many people tuned in for Radiohead's New Years Eve webcast/concert thingie this year, but it was pretty awesome. I saw these clips a couple of weeks ago and its really cool to see the performance; their music is so eclectic its interesting to see it actually being made. Enjoy.

Say Bok Gwai

Alex's band Say Bok Gwai participated in a DIY Video contest/showcase on Friday. The video contains two songs - $40 T Shirt and Pook Guy Bush (F*** You Bush). The video stream is slow so you might want to hit play and then pause it for a couple of minutes and come back to watch it, but the vids are cool and worth it. You can check out the other videos at the Center for Asian American Media here.

Don't Fuck This Up, America

Hey, if its still Tuesday put down the laptop and get your butt over to your local polling place by 8pm and vote your conscience.

Bad News

I was driving the other night and R Kelly's "Step in the Name of Love" was groovin me home. So of course I've been singing it to everybody for the last 2 days -- everybody that doesnt punch me in the face first. So tonight I was hanging out with peeps who didn't know which song it was even when I did my rendition (which is astonishingly close to the original), so naturally I came home and looked him up on wikipedia and inadvertently found out that the man is a capricorn and his birthday is not two days before mine. All of you out there who know me well know that this is a shocking blow to my astrological ego. It's bad enough that Howard Stern is two days from me on the 12th, but to be sandwiched between him and the author of such timeless classics as "Feelin' on Your Booty" and "I Like the Crotch on You" is more than a sensitive cappie can take. Its not as bad as when we found out CC shared her birthday with David Hasselhoff, but its up there.

Anyway, go shake it off and Step in the Name of Love here.

Flip Art

A nonsensical piece of flip art at Heathrow's Terminal 5. Its made out of those little flip dots from the 70's and 80's they used to use for signage. I like the sound they make, I remember hearing that sound in train stations in Europe. Its strangely soothing. by Troika.
